The Wife of Bath Paper Topics - Read More About This NovelSome people have a hard time believing that what happened in the tale of The Wife of Bath is based on real life events. As far as most people are concerned, it's a fiction novel and completely different from what the real life went through. Although some people might be inclined to believe what the novel did not describe, others would not even consider believing that the events in the novel are really taking place. The author wrote the book's protagonist, Charlotte, as someone who was into the occult and those who practice it. While other novels claim that they give a sense of mystery and makes the reader want to read the next chapter, the Wife of Bath tells more about the situation and what her character went through. It also describes how she met with the devil, got tempted and lost and took up the habit of drinking beer in her aunt's. What the novel does not tell you is that she took up the habit because her aunt abused her mentally and physically. The story of The Wife of Bath gives an insight into how she came to be in the position that she was in when she was living at the house with her husband and their son. Her husband went crazy and lost his way so that she took him to the cemetery to find help. But she soon became more enamored with the mystery and started following the newspaper in an attempt to unravel the hidden clues that were in the paper. From the start, it is clear that Charlotte is not someone who would be attracted to those kinds of books. She constantly picked fights with her husband because he wanted to protect her from what he believed was wrong with her. When the two of them went out for a drive, he took the family to a local bar. While they were having a good time, Charlotte felt coldness in her stomach and started feeling sick because of a couple of hours.Just before her husband would leave for work, he would take her back to their bedroom so that she could rest and fell asleep. Un fortunately, as the night continued, Charlotte didn't sleep at all and she was restless until the early morning. When she woke up, she felt as if she was being strangled and she was afraid that her husband would kill her.Because of this, the husband took the option of leaving her alone in the house. Charlotte thought it would be better if they married. When her husband didn't wake up, she tried to find out if her room was any better or worse than hers and she found nothing. There was no phone in the house, so Charlotte's mother and her daughter tried to get in touch with her. To their surprise, Charlotte's cell phone bill showed that it was only ringing every second. Not being able to make contact with anyone, the family started looking for her. They finally found her in the cellar when she was reading the newspaper. The Wife of Bath is a mysterious novel. It would definitely grab the attention of readers, especially those who are fans of the mystery novels. It is sure to keep readers hooked on the action of what's happening in the real life.
